Case Study: El Rio Grande


The Challenge:

To update the El Rio Market brand and appeal to a multi-lingual audience across all online channels.


The Approach:

El Rio Latin Market required a scalable solution to respond to growing business needs. In addition, there was a necessity for a branding and digital overhaul. Their non-responsive website only catered to a Hispanic demographic. A mobile friendly website and broad audience outreach were necessities, as was a totally new social media strategy. Magic Logix conceptualized an interactive site that appeals to Spanish and English speaking markets.


The Solution:

Magic Logix built a custom Drupal based responsive website utilizing PHP, CSS3 and HTML5. The new site is bi-lingual, fully interactive, features weekly specials/ads in English and Spanish, and integrates Foursquare and Instagram feeds. Dynamic features such as recipes, coupons and an employee and vendor portal were also added. The site was rebranded with Natural Freshness, Affordable Price and features a design that expertly conveys this messaging and keeps with the updated aesthetic.
